Sunday Roast Bison

Ingredients

  • 1 Bison sirloin tip or round roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.)

Instructions

Generously brush oil over entire roast. Season as desired. Place roast in hot (425°) oven for 15 minutes to sear. Reduce oven heat to 300° and cook for 10 minutes per pound. Check internal temperature frequently and do not cook beyond an internal temperature of 140-150°). Set out for 10 minutes before slicing thin.
