WPS Farm Show
March 24-26, 2026
The WPS Farm Show held at the EAA grounds in Oshkosh, WI is a wonderful show to attend for all farming operations from large to small and especially those just starting out. There are four large heated buildings and a large heated tent full of business exhibitors from fencing, chutes, cattle fly control, insurance, trailers, and so much more! In the middle of all the buildings is a food tent where we, as an association, will be serving bison burgers and burritos and walking tacos. Other food venders inside the tent with us include the WI Cattlemen, WI potato growers the Winnebago Co Dairymen, and a pizza stand.
In order to make this fundraiser of ours successful, we need volunteers such as yourself to help out! About 15 people per day, per shift, is ideal to make this event the most efficient and successful. Jobs include, but are not limited to, grilling, assembling burgers, burritos and walking tacos, getting orders ready, cashiering, filling the condiment station, mingling with other bison producers, having a good time and more. All ages are welcome!
This year once again the Greater Fond du Lac Agri- Business Council will help us fill work shifts as needed to help both us, and their organization out. The percentage of hours that each association works, is the percentage of income each makes. So, the more help WBPA provides, the more money we can make for the association! This is the only fund raiser we have each year.
Shifts will be ROUGHLY 9am-1pm and 12pm-4pm or all day if you’d like. Parking passes will be sent out to workers as well. Please call or text Melissa Wienkes at (920) 676-7247 if you are able to help out. Hope to see you there!
Also, we will be having a slide show of bison pictures again on a tv for customers to watch while waiting in line. Please email Melissa Wienkes your farm’s bison pictures, farm name and location to mmass08@yahoo.com if you would like to be added to the slide show.
Request for Proposals for Bison Trim
The WBPA is requesting bids for bison trim to be used at the WPS Farm Show. We need about 750 pounds and will accept bids for all or part of this amount. The bid or bids will go to the lowest bidder or bidders. Trim must be delivered to Beck’s Meat Processing in Ring WI on or before March 10. We will consider live animals as well.
If you wish to offer a bid, please email your bid to Isabella Tondi btondi44@gmail.com no later than March 8, 2026.
